I'm Jing Liu, DAc, LAc
I was born and raised in Kaifeng, Henan, China, where Traditional Chinese Medicine has been a part of everyday life for generations. From an early age, I saw the important role Chinese medicine played in helping people maintain their health and recover from illness. Those experiences inspired me to pursue a career in medicine and dedicate my life to helping others.
I received my medical education at Henan Medical University and later practiced medicine in China before continuing my studies in the United States. I earned my Doctorate in Acupuncture from Virginia University of Integrative Medicine and had the privilege of training under Dr. Jun Chen, a respected physician specializing in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Qi Gong. My education and clinical experience in both China and the United States have shaped the way I care for patients today.

My Philosophy
Throughout my career, I have met many patients who feel frustrated after years of searching for answers. Some have tried multiple treatments without success, while others have been told they simply have to live with their condition. I believe there is always value in looking deeper.
Traditional Chinese Medicine takes a different approach to health. Rather than focusing on a diagnosis alone, it seeks to understand the underlying patterns that may be contributing to illness or discomfort. By addressing these imbalances, the body is often able to function more effectively and heal more naturally.
My goal is to listen carefully, understand each patient's unique situation, and create a treatment plan tailored to their needs. Whether through acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, or other traditional therapies, I strive to help patients move toward better health and lasting improvement.

East Acupuncture
I founded East Acupuncture to help patients find solutions to health concerns that may not have improved through conventional treatments alone. Throughout my career, I have seen how Traditional Chinese Medicine can help people who have struggled with chronic pain, stress, digestive disorders, allergies, women's health concerns, and other ongoing conditions.
My goal is not only to relieve symptoms, but to identify underlying imbalances and support the body's natural ability to heal. Every treatment plan is personalized to the individual, drawing from the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and years of clinical experience.
At East Acupuncture, I am committed to sharing the healing potential of Chinese medicine and helping patients achieve better health, improved quality of life, and lasting wellness.
